Annual transect study in Godthåbsfjord, SW Greenland

The marine monitoring programme, MarineBasis-Nuuk, conducts an annual transect study in early-May. The study covers a length section of the Godthåbsfjord system from Fyllas Banke outside the fjord to the innermost accessible station towards the glacial outlet. The cruise program leave possibility for research projects to join in. Interested projects needs to cover all expenses outside ship time. The MarineBasis-Nuuk programme is part of the Greenland Ecosystem Monitoring programme (GEM). GEM conducts full ecosystem monitoring at two different locations in Greenland along with adapted programs at several additional locations. For more information please visit: www.g-e-m.dk
