In April 2016, five of us from the Arctic Science Partnership (Sergei Kirillov, Dave Babb, Igor Dmitrenko, Cris Seaton, and Kunuk Lennert) returned to Station Nord to retrieve this equipment, download the data, swap out the batteries and re-deploy the systems to continue the time series for a second year.  When we arrive at Station Nord on April 2 is was below -30°C and the sun was up for most of the day, but fortunately for us there was less snow than last year. Because there were only five us up there this year we were able to work on the ice every day and run a fast and efficient field program.
