The Centre for Earth Observation Science (CEOS) was established in 1994 at the University of Manitoba, with a mandate to research, preserve and communicate knowledge of earth system processes using the technologies of Earth Observation Science. 

CEOS is part of the Clayton H. Riddell Faculty of Environment, Earth and Resources. See their website for further information about the University of Manitoba's newest Faculty.

CEOS is one of the three founding partners of ASP.
